Sing for joy… and peace

I have a small group of brave and dedicated souls that have been meeting outside under shelter almost every week for the past two years. 90% of our material is from the Taizé community in France and the rest mostly from South Africa as well as some New Age chants. This summer I decided to open our group up and advertise to really encourage visitors to come and join us and share in the glorious experience of singing in harmony. To this end I’m borrowing the name, “Sing for Joy” from many other a capella choirs around the world that are inclusive and focussed on singing for the sheer joy of it ( deep peace is another frequent by-product ) To make the experience as accessible as possible we will sing songs and chants that are short and repetitive and easy to pick up.

You and your family and friends are most welcome to come along and join in and I’m happy to answer any further questions you might have
